This project aims to convert paper-based math exams into digital text using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology.
The goal is to extract not only general text but also mathematical functions and various types of formulas accurately.
The client requires more than basic character recognition — all mathematical symbols and expressions must be fully and faithfully digitized. These may include variables, fractions, exponents, roots, integrals, derivatives, and other mathematical notations, all of which need to be precisely recognized and preserved.
The converted content should be saved as either a .txt file or a Microsoft Word .docx file, making it easy to edit, store, and reuse the material later. The core objective is to streamline the digitization process while maintaining high accuracy in mathematical content.
